What is canton fair
Founded on April 25, 1957, it is held in Guangzhou every spring and autumn, jointly sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce and the people’s Government of Guangdong Province, and undertaken by the China Foreign Trade Center.
At present, it is a comprehensive international trade event with the longest history, the highest level, the largest scale, the most complete variety of commodities, the largest number of buyers, the widest distribution of countries and regions, and the best transaction effect in China. It is known as “China’s first Exhibition”.
The trade methods of the Canton Fair are flexible and diverse. in addition to the traditional sample-watching transactions, the Canton Fair is also held online mainly for export trade and import business, and can also carry out various forms of economic and technological cooperation and exchanges. as well as commodity inspection, insurance, transportation, advertising, consulting and other business activities.
The Canton Fair Exhibition Hall is located in Pazhou Island, Guangzhou, with a total construction area of 1.1 million square meters, an indoor exhibition hall of 338000 square meters and an outdoor exhibition area of 43600 square meters.
Exhibit Arrangement
Phase I Products: large machinery and equipment, small machinery, bicycles, motorcycles, auto parts, chemical products, hardware, tools, vehicles (outdoor), construction machinery (outdoor), household appliances, consumer electronics, electrical and electronic products, computer and communication products, lighting products, building and decoration materials, sanitary equipment, import exhibition area.
Phase II Products: tableware, household ceramics, craft ceramics, household decorations, glass handicrafts, furniture, weaving and rattan iron handicrafts, garden products, iron and stone products (outdoor), household products, personal care appliances, bathroom supplies, watch glasses, toys, gifts and gifts, festive items, native products (newly compiled in the 109th session).
Phase III Products: men’s and women’s wear, children’s wear, underwear, sportswear and casual wear, fur, leather, down and products, clothing accessories and accessories, home textiles, textile raw materials and fabrics, carpets and tapestries, food, medicine and health products, medical devices, consumables, dressings, sports and tourism leisure products, office stationery, shoes, bags
